Visitors

Grace and her Mom Julie, drove from outside Barrie to visit Ewan and I. Unfortunately Ewan found them somewhat boring and slept for the first 2 hours of the visit. When he woke up, Grace just wanted to grab him and crawl all over him. Julie had to keep pulling her off. Ewan just loved to stare back at her. These pictures are a couple of the calmer seconds that they spent together. Grace was kind enough to lend Ewan her Bumbo seat. His fat little legs barely fit into it, but he still likes sitting in it!

the snowsuit

Ewan wore this snowsuit for all of 20 minutes to go outside on March 13th. It took me awhile to take this picture since I was laughing so hard at how he looked. He moved like the little boy in A Christmas Story.

The picture below was taken today (March 27th). Now that the weather is nicer we've been able to get out for a few more walks. This time Jamie gets a taste of what it feels like to have an added 17lbs on your stomach!

The hazards of baby boys

Well Ewan is clean, but Dad apparently needed to use the toilet.

We have also recorded some important information for Ewan when he is older:

-January 9th: 1st time he peed on Mom during a diaper change

-January 15th: 1st time he peed on Dad during a diaper change

-January 28th: soaked right through his diaper-sorry about the wet lap Karen!

Our "little" boy

Our "little" boy is 11 weeks old today (March 22nd). We had an appointment with a lactation consultant and she said he now weighs in at 17 lbs 6 oz!!! She was so surprised that she wanted to show him to the pediatrician! She said he could be the poster boy for a healthy, breast fed baby. Jamie said my milk must be made of chocolate! I just wish he'd slow down a little so my arm muscles could have a chance to catch up!
