Our "little" girl finally arrived on January 3rd, 2009, 1:49am, weighing in at 9lbs 7oz.
Once she decided to come, there was no stopping her, and the labour was really quick. Let's just say that the midwife advised a home birth if we were to have another baby. She said we wouldn't make it to the hospital next time.

Home with Madelyn, just on time to celebrate Ewan's birthday (luckily we had one cake a day early, because he was sick by the time January 4th arrived).

Madelyn has been a good, quiet baby so far. This has helped, since Ewan has needed alot more attention since he got sick!

The weigh in...by day 4 Madelyn had regained her birthweight, and was up to 9lbs 8oz. After 6 days she was up to 9lbs 13 oz. And I thought Ewan was a big baby!

And this is just 10 days into January...New Year, new baby, and Ewan turning 2...what will the rest of the year be like?

Ewan looks like he's handling having a sister fairly well so far. Hope 2009 gets quieter for you. There's only so much parents of 2 can handle at once!
